Our honeymoon was amazing and I am still sad it is over. I hadn't relaxed in so long and it was nice not to think of wedding stuff. Sunday we drove to Oregon. We stopped by multnomah falls and it was so pretty. it was raining a little bit. We then went to portland and went to pok pok which is a thai restaurant and it was the best food I probably have ever had no lie. holy cow so good. We then went to salt&straw of course. We stayed at air bnb's the whole time. Our portland air bnb was so cute. It was very portland.
Monday we stayed the whole day in portland. We went to the rose garden. We then we went to the pittock mansion and the weather was so nice. We went downtown and rented scooters! It was really fun! holy cow so fun! We did the typical portland things. We went to voodoo donuts and went to the keep portland weird sign. We scootered down the water front and over the bridge. We went to powells books. We went to smizza pizza for dinner. I hadnt been there in forever and it was so good. We also went to the urban waterfall. We then drove to Lincoln City. Our air bnb was so nice and big and on the beach.
Tuesday we went to the Yaquina Lighthouse. We went to Newport and went to the aquarium. It was really big and fun. We went to agate beach and brought the air chair. We then went to Mo's and clam chowder and salmon. so yummy. We then went to boiler state park and looked at really pretty views. We saw some whales!
Wednesday we walked on the beach outside our air b&b. It was really nice outside. We went on a nice hike that has a suspension bridge and a pretty waterfall. We found a really nice place with a view to eat dinner so we went there. While we waited for our table we walked around town and got salt water taffy. We asked the water how the curry was and he pointed to the women at the table next to us and said ask her she gets it every time! She said it was amazing. So we got that. After we were done with our food that same women came up to me and asked how it was and handed me a note and walked away. The note was SO nice and talked about how it was so nice to see young couples happy and not on their phones. Anyways they paid for our food plus a dessert! SO nice! it was like $50.
Thursday we went to Neskowin beach. There was this huge rock and ethan wanted to climb it of course. We we climbed it and it was so sketchy haha. When I was at the top some ladies yelled at me asking if this was my stuff on the beach when the tide was coming IN. My purse, jackets, and CAMERA was there and was getting wet! Luckily they moved it and no damage was done but i was so dumb hahaa. we then went to oceanside beach. We then went to a lighthouse. We then went to the tillamook cheese factory and tested cheese and ate yummy icecream. We then drove to cannon beach and went to this real fancy restaurant. We then went to seaside and went to our airbnb.
Friday we went to hug point and stayed there for so long. It was really nice outside and we went in the water. It was soooo fun but so cold i was numb. It was fun jumping the waves. We then went to cannon beach and it was really nice. We then went to ecola state park and looked at the pretty views. We then drove to camp 18 for dinner.
Saturday we spent the day in Seaside and it was really fun. We went to the aquarium and fed the sea lions. The are so funny. We walked around downtown and bought some things for our parents. We got an elephant ear. We then rented one of those bikes. We broke the rules and went on the board walk haha. it was fun. We went to the beach and made a trench and an arch. We swung on the swings. We then ate out at a yummy restaurant. We then got wood and built a fire on the beach and made smores! So fun.
Sunday we drove north. We stopped at that beach with the shipwreck. We then went to astoria and walked around. We road the trolley along the columbia river. It was only $1 and they give you a tour. We went to the column and the flaval house. We then got good pizza at a restaurant. We then drove back home. It was the best to just have time alone with my new husband!
