summer 2019

Today is the first day of fall so I figured I should write about my summer! Holy cow was it a good summer! It didn't feel long or really like summer though. We were travelling soooo much! But it was so good. Cause honestly I love travelling. Going to new places is my favorite thing in the world. So obviously I went to the Baltics during my summer but I did a whole separate post about that because we were there for two weeks and had so much to share and say!

The day after Ethan graduated and it was my last day of work I was like PARTY! We went to the TETONS! Ah one of my favorite places on earth! We hiked to Delta Lake. A hike I have been dying to do for forever! I told Ethan we couldn't leave Idaho without doing this hike. It was long and pretty hard but so worth it! It was so fun! The water was so gorgeous that day. We then went to Utah the next day and I went to Alyssa's bridal shower. The next day we went swimming with henry. That night we then went to a birthday party for parker.

The next day we drove to washington!! We surprised my dad and it was the best! haha. My mom made us lots of yummy food. She always spoils us when we go home. Of course we played lots of pickle ball and watched lots of movies. Monday we went boating all day! Tuesday we went to the ballard locks with ethans dad and uncle. We then went to Discovery Park and walked around. Ethan and I then went to green lake and paddle boated. We jumped out and went swimming too! It was so nice out and so fun. Wednesday we hiked to snow lake. We swam in the lake and it was so pretty. We then went to the sammamish farmers market. We then hung out with Grant, ethans uncle. Thursday we went to Auburn and played frisbee golf with ethans dad. We then went to museum of flight with him and grant because it was free admission! Friday we went to Lake Washinton on our boat and watched the blue angels! It was probably the most fun day! We swam and tubed. Saturday we went to deception pass with my parents. It was such a beautiful day. On the way there we got the BEST icecream on snow coose produce. We went to a beach and walked around. We then got pizza! Sunday we drove back to Utah.

When we got back to Utah we got ready for our trip and I hung out with henry and Brittany. I had a photoshoot as well. Wednesday brittany had a c-section to birth her baby. We were expecting a girl but guess what it was a boy!! We babysat Henry all day and packed because our flight to denver was that night! I was glad we got to see baby Eli before we left.

When we got back from our trip my family was in town for Eli's baby blessing. We all stayed in Brittany house which was fun haha. We were recovering from jet lag and unpacking. I took bridals Friday night in the mountains and it was so fun. The next day I took their wedding photos!! It was hot but went well! I then had a family dinner with all of the family and brians family at olive garden. The next day was Eli's baby blessing. We had a brunch afterward. It was also Ethan & I's first anniversary!! So crazy it has been a year. What a wonderful year. I love my Ethan. I made him eat our wedding cake with me haha. He thought it was so gross but it actually wasn't that bad. We then drove back to Rexburg that night. We had someone stay at our apt the month we were gone to save money! It was nice because we didn't have to pay rent.

Monday we went on another little trip. We went camping at Redfish lake. It was the BEST! I was pretty sick though with a bad cold. I had been dying to go to redfish lake and I am so glad we did. We set up camp and went to the lake and swam. It was really cold but not terribly cold! We were cold because we were wet and it was sunset so we went to a hot spring. It was actually a caldron that someone made with running hot water from the hot spring. It was so cool and actually really clean inside! It was so pretty and we got to talk to an interesting guy haha. We then had a campfire and it was so nice. I love camping with my husband and stargazing. Oh my stars it was so pretty. The next morning we went rock climbing. We rode our bikes to redfish lake. We then got kayaks and went across half of the lake which was so fun. We jumped into the lake too. The next day we hiked to sawtooth lake. It was gorgeous. On the way there we stopped at a lake called alpine lake. It was smaller so it wasn't that cold but it was so clear! We swam in there for a while and ate some lunch. When we got to Sawtooth lake ethan foud a little cliff jump and jumped off a few times. It was so cold there was no way I was doing it. It was the bluest clearest water though. I wanted to go but I also wasn't feeling good hence the sickness. We got down and ate dinner at redfish lake and got icecream. We then drove home. It was so nice being back in Rexburg. Camping and hiking made me so much worse. I hadn't been that sick in so long. I felt so bad cause Ethan packed and cleaned our whole apartment up in two days. I literally laid down all day long and he took care of me.

Saturday, the last day of August we moved to utah!! Ethan drove the Uhaul and I drove the car. I still wasn't feeling good at all but we didn't. Ethan's dad and brother and his family came and helped unpack the car. We are living in Brittany and Brian's basement! It's actually really nice and cheap rent. Plus we get tohang out with henry and Eli all the time. Basically the next few days I just stayed in the basement sick for the next few days so I wouldn't get anyone sick especially the baby! Since being in Utah I have been looking for a job and Ethan just started online school this week. I like living in Utah, there is a lot to do! Brittany and I switch off meals and it is so nice! The rest of summer we have been:
