winter 2020

Oh man hello. What a crazy time to be alive. We are currently in quarantine. I've been meaning to write this blog post but I have been so busy. This week is the first week that I have been working from home. I am going in about one day a week. It is so sad and terrible and I want it to be over. We were supposed to go to Jackson hole and Montana to ski, that got canceled. And we were supposed to go to national parks and Disneyland and it is all canceled...I guess we will save money. Which is good because Ethan lost his job...So I think he is going to start school in the summer. But I am here to talk about the last few months before all this craziness started!

Well, winter started with Christmas! For Christmas, we went to Saint George with Ethan's family for a few days! It was so fun! We hiked angel's landing, went to dixie rock, the temple, meadow hot springs, snow canyon, and saw some Christmas lights. We ate lots of food and a lot of Christmas cookies. The place we stayed at had a pool so we swam a lot and played a lot of games.

I finished up my internship and then got a new full time job! I work at Nest Boutique as the social media marketing manager. I love it! I get to do social media, graphic design, and photography! I am creating and being innovative every day and I love it. Plus I love my boss and coworkers. It is in South Jordan so it is a little bit of a drive. And I am very grateful for right now that I can work online.

We skied A LOT. We went to deer valley one weekend with my parents and sisters. It was so fun to ski with them. We rented a cabin and it was a blast. I love spending time with them, especially when skiing! We are all around the same level and its so fun to race and play games on the mountain. We played games, hot tubbed and ate a lot.

In February we went to Bryce Canyon. It was SO fun. Probably the highlight of my winter. It was just ethan, brady and I. It was so fun. We stopped at mystic hot springs on the way and it was really cool. I loved bryce canyon. So beautiful. We saw a lot of it cause its pretty small. its drop dead gorgeous with snow covering it. We went on a hike and it was so diverse and there was always something to see. Then we got really good pizza. I wanna go back!
